THIS restaurant is a SPECIAL hidden gem in St. Clair Mo....the food here is MAGNIFICENT. I had the Shrimp Chimichanga with Guacamole Dip and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. The wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. I will always come back here when I'm in this neck of the woods.

Very good food! Authentic Mexican food for sure.. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and was expecting a plate similar to what you'd get at a bar and grill but it came out literally shrimp in a cocktail and it was amazing! Best Mexican food I've had for sure..
Delicious and almost too much to eat. We fed 11 people for $124 and no one went hungry. I travel along I-44 about 6 times a year and I will definitely be going back.
The waiters were very nice and quick to get refills, which is saying a lot as I think I drank a gallon of water as it was a very hot day.
It's about a 90 second detour from I-44 and I highly recommend trying it next time you're around.
Amazed how high the ratings are. Place was clean, service was friendly but average (tried to give my drink refill to the table next to us after two seconds). Burrito Colorado had zero cheese sauce or Pico de Gallo on it despite menu description, just a tortilla with plain shredded pork in it and red sauce over it. Ate half the pork and left the tortilla. Rice stale. Salsa fine. My Middle Eastern palate is used to more variety of ingredients and actual flavor I guess.
Short distance off of the interstate perfect for a quick lunch stop. Wait staff was friendly and got drinks to us quickly. Food was great and didn’t take long to come out. Menu was very much like any other Mexican restaurant although I failed to take a picture of it. Staff kept our drinks, chips and salsa full and was very attentive to our table. We were in and out within 25 minutes and was able to continue onto our road trip.
I live right by this place and decided to give it a try with my fiance. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful meal we had. The chilaquiles were wonderful and had a good amount for spice and I could feel it in my nose. This will probably become a regular place for me and her. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good local place.
